Consensus guidance for businesses on high-integrity tropical forest carbon credits

To increase available financing for tropical forest protection, a group of NGOs and Indigenous Peoples organizations have developed new guidance for companies seeking to understand how to identify high-quality carbon credits from tropical forest protection. At Innovate4Climate, the group will present just-released guidelines outlining what kinds of credits might be considered high quality now and in the future, and how companies can invest with confidence. It will also preview the next phase of the group’s work.
