Bonn, Germany, June 15, 2022.- The indigenous peoples of the Amazon must be active agents and partners in the implementation of climate change mitigation and adaptation projects, only in this way will it be possible to generate their own economy, which preserves the fundamental rights and freedoms and keep ancestral knowledge safe from the power exercised by the extractive mining, energy and agribusiness sectors, which take advantage of the neglect of the State to operate the change of land use according to their interests.
